These interesting and quirky pyrite nodules from China are a relatively new find and have only been available in the last few years. Not much is know about them other than they form as nodules inside the surrounding bedrock and its believed that the pyrite deposits on the outside of the nodules are sedimentary. However they form one thing we do know is that they’re incredibly interesting and beautiful. A variety of these pyrite nodules are available to view at our Pimlico Road, London gallery.
